What is confirmed, and what is not?
One date is confirmed: Rockstar's own Grand Theft Auto VI page says the game is coming on November 19, 2026, a Thursday. The pre-order press release from June 24, 2026 repeats that date and names two platforms, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Those are the only launch facts on this page.
Two things are not confirmed. Rockstar has not published an unlock time, and there is no PC date in the announcement. Rumors fill both gaps on other sites, and we leave them out. The box above says "not announced" until Rockstar says otherwise.
Why does the counter end at midnight?
With no official unlock time, we need a fixed point that does not pretend to be one. The counter uses the start of launch day where you are: midnight on Thu, Nov 19 on your device clock. A player in New York and a player in Los Angeles each count to their own midnight, three hours apart. That is the start of the date, not a promise that the game unlocks then. When Rockstar names a time, the counter moves to it, and the Checked line under the title records the change.
What happens to this page after launch?
The address stays the same. After Nov 19, 2026 the counter turns into a days-since count, and the facts table stays as a record of what was announced and when. If a later date or a new platform is announced, it gets a new row, not a new page.
