Quick help
Restore a purchase
Sign in to the App Store with the Apple Account you bought with. In the app, open Settings → Go Premium (or any Day Pro screen) and tap Restore Purchases at the bottom. Day Pro, Essentials and the older Remove Ads purchase come back the same way. If you used the app before some features became paid, they unlock again automatically within a minute of opening the app.
Cancel or change Day Pro
Apple manages subscriptions: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Countdown Day. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal or trial end date to avoid the next charge. You keep Day Pro until the period you paid for ends. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Ask for a refund
Refunds are decided by Apple, not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
iCloud sync and a new phone
- Sign in to the same Apple Account on the new phone and keep iCloud on for Countdown Day (iOS Settings → your name → iCloud).
- Install the app and open it. With sync on, your countdowns arrive by themselves; give it a few minutes on a slow connection.
- Day Pro members can also use Settings → Backup & Sync → Back Up Now on the old phone and Restore Data on the new one.
- Photos picked from your library stay on the old phone; choose them again on the new one. Unsplash photos come back by themselves.
- Turning Auto iCloud Sync on or off takes effect the next time you open the app.
Widgets not updating
- Open the app once: it refreshes the information your widgets use.
- Touch and hold the widget → Edit Widget to choose which countdown it shows.
- If it still looks stuck, remove the widget and add it again from the widget gallery (search for Countdown Day).
- Every widget size is free. The photo widget needs Day Pro or Essentials.
Reminders not showing
- Allow notifications in iOS Settings → Notifications → Countdown Day, and check that a Focus mode is not hiding them.
- Open the countdown and check its reminder switches (on the day, the day before, a week before).
- iOS lets an app schedule a limited number of reminders at once, so the app schedules the nearest dates first. Opening the app now and then keeps them up to date.
Dates show the wrong year
If dates appear in another calendar, such as the Buddhist era, open Settings → Calendar System. Off shows Gregorian dates; on follows your device's calendar.
Ads and tracking choices
Allow or stop cross-app tracking in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Where offered, change ad consent in the app's Settings → Privacy Settings. Day Pro and Essentials remove ads. Details are in the privacy policy.
Delete your data
Delete countdowns in the app, or delete the app to remove everything stored on the phone. To remove the iCloud copy too, delete your countdowns while sync is on before removing the app, or manage the app's data in iOS Settings → your name → iCloud. To delete analytics linked to your device, write to us.
Contact us
